One of the most exciting developments at LCM is the launch of our new Fleet Division. While many know us for retail, Fleet brings fresh opportunities for growth, innovation, and service to business clients of every size.
At the helm is Nick Pitarra — a Lancaster County native, Army veteran, and seasoned automotive professional with over 20 years of experience — who shared his journey, his vision, and what Fleet means for LCM’s future.
Many of you know Nick from his work opening the Mercedes-Benz Van Center, which quickly grew in 4 short years into one of the Top 10 Sprinter dealerships in the U.S. After finding success in that role, he was invited to expand LCM’s commercial sales focus — and from that challenge, LCM Fleet was born.
Why Fleet, Why Now?
Fleet management is often a challenge for businesses — especially those juggling multiple vehicles, vendors, and service needs. LCM saw an opportunity to simplify that process while delivering the same personal, local service our customers know and trust.
For Nick, Fleet is about more than just vehicles: “We’re bringing a full suite of solutions under one roof so businesses can focus on what they do best, while we take care of the vehicles that keep them moving.”
Services & Benefits
LCM Fleet is designed to serve businesses of all sizes — from small companies with just three vehicles to large organizations managing up to 1,000. What makes LCM unique is our turnkey approach: customers can custom-tailor buying options, receive vehicles delivered directly to their office, and never have to leave their desk to manage their fleet.
Key services include:
- Commercial Leasing Options: Flexible, open-ended leases that include fuel and maintenance management software.
- Fleet Visibility: Real-time vehicle tracking with secure access through our website and mobile app.
- Professional Upfitting: Expert design and layout consultation through our own upfitter, Commercial Van Solutions.
- Custom Branding: Coordination of professional graphics so vehicles can hit the road fully branded.
- One-Stop Delivery: Every vehicle arrives turnkey — ready to work for the business from day one.
Looking Ahead
Nick believes Fleet will strengthen LCM’s reputation as a trusted partner for both individuals and businesses in our community. It’s about blending big-picture solutions with the hometown values that have guided LCM for generations.
For employees across our organization, Fleet means more than new services — it’s another way LCM is raising the bar. Fleet will:
- Expand our reach into commercial vehicle sales and leasing.
- Strengthen LCM’s reputation by delivering turnkey solutions through our own Commercial Van Solutions upfitter.
- Showcase our ability to adapt and innovate in a competitive market.
- Create new opportunities for cross-department collaboration, as Fleet draws on sales, service, parts, and upfitting.
Culture & Community at the Core
When asked what excites him most, he emphasized how well Fleet fits within LCM’s culture: “We believe in putting our customers’ needs first. I also make it a point to ensure my team feels respected, heard, and valued — the same way I’ve felt since I joined LCM.”
He also spoke about his passion for being active in the community: "I absolutely love being involved with the community. We take an active role in organizations like the Chamber of Commerce and Associated Builders and Contractors. This allows us to take a grass roots approach to our marketing vision while giving back to the community that I was raised in and that I raise my children in."
